The best out there

These winches are just as good if not better than the warn models at a fraction of the price. I have 2 superwinches so far a 4500lb one on my rhino and now the 3500lb one on my brute force. They are top quality and with a lifetime warranty how can you go wrong.

I purchased this back in oct of 2010 cheaper through Amazon.

I've used Superwinch before on a 2002 450 Honday TRX Foreman and live in a swamp in LA to duck hunt...in other words, it stays in the water and mud...it still works...had one problem about a year ago and called SuperWinch and they sold they parts I needed, but instead of selling to me, they shipped free of charge...that 3,000 lb winch still works like it was new

can't say enough about Superwinch...every ATV at my camp has a WARN on it and they last about 1 season

I'm sold on the product and the service...I bought a 500 Honda and Superwinch was the only choice and I got it cheaper through Amazon

Great tool

The included hardware was impressive and I use this to haul logs. I pulled full trees that were limbed through the woods withoutbackwards. ile lashed to a tree using a marine battery.
The only downside is the wire rope, which kinked and frayed immediately. Metal filings are all over the winch from use, so I would get the synthetic rope option.
Also, for some unknown reason, I had to reverse the wiring to the solenoid to get the wired remote to work correctly...it worked backwards as listed.

A Handy Tester For Your Automotive Toolbox

I needed to chase down a slow starting problem that only happened once in a while. I wanted to rule out the battery as the problem, but also needed to test the battery voltage drop during starting. Many digital multimeters have a "peak hold" feature that will hold the highest reading, but for starter testing you need to hold the reading of the lowest voltage measured during starting. The conductive CCA test of the Solar BA7 gave me the battery condition information I needed. The system test gave me the starter load voltage drop test I needed.

The Solar BA7 gets its operating voltage from the battery and indicates the no-load battery voltage when you connect its clips to the battery posts. You then can select the CCA test, enter in the battery's rated CCA, and get a reading of the actual CCA of the battery using a conductive test that sends a 1KHz sinewave through the battery to measure its internal resistance. Next, you switch to the SYSTEM test and crank the car. The BA7 will indicate and hold the lowest voltage reading obtained during starting and give you an "OK" or "FAIL" indication using LEDs. Then, as the engine is running you can advance to the charging test and see the battery voltage while the alternator is providing a charge. Once again, the BA7 gives you an LED indication of "OK" or "FAIL".

The BA7 is a handy tester to have for a quick test of your car's starting and charging system. It is simple enough for the non-technical person to use, but useful for the experienced tech to do troubleshooting. If you only need a one-time test, you can get that for free at many auto parts stores. But, if you are chasing down an intermittent problem, or want a battery system tester for your automotive toolbox, the BA7 is a good product to have.

Absolutely Great!

I've been in the auto repair business for over 25 years. I've seen just about every kind of tester there is. Some only a few hundred bucks, others in the thousands. All to test a car's battery and charging system. I am proud to announce that this tester does everything that is necessary to determine the battery and charging system's state of health for under 100 bucks. It's all I use now. And it's been questioned repeatedly because of its diminutive size. Every challenger has found out by testing with their preferred tester that this one is always right. At this price I outta buy one for home as well.

quick, easy diagnostic tool

Living in Maine and being on 24-7 call for fire EMS duties , I bought this as I was having some inconsistent battery issues with a 2000 Legacy. used this and found a marginal charging system which my old style tester didn't pick up. Checked out my other cars - all 6+ years old and found a marginal battery on one which I replaced before our last subzero cold snap. Easy to use with clear instruction--have to shade the screen in bright sun but otherwise very clear.

Good Product

I bought this to charge my Mom's car battery which we used several other chargers on that didn't work. This one got it started. I used the 10 amp setting for about an hour then used the 50 amp for a couple of minutes and it started right up. I have the same brand charger that I received about 20 years ago and it still works great. I hope this one lasts as long. It's made of metal and seems pretty sturdy. My only critism is that on my Schumacher charger, there is an on/off setting and on this newer one there is not. Once you plug it in, there's electricity going to the clamps. Make sure you have it connected to the battery before plugging it in.

Just plain works

Does the job. Well. It is not a mobile battery, it is a 3 speed charger. You need to be near an electric outlet. The 50 amp setting will not start a totally dead car, but leaving the charger on 10 amps for just a few minutes and then switching to 50 amp will. Do not leave the charger on 50 amps to charge the battery as this would be dangerous.

Excellent value - Works as advertised

This jewel is very light to pack a 50Amp punch. I connected it to a battery insufficient to turn over the starter. The guy working on the house left his light on in the truck bed. I connected the charger to the battery while in the 2Amp mode, then plugged the battery charger into the 120VAC receptacle. I then switched it to the 50Amp selection and allowed to charge the battery for 4-5 minutes. While the charger was still connected to the battery, the guy was able to start his truck. Man was I blown away. Following the instructions, I changed the charging selection switch to the 2Amp mode, disconnected the charger from the 120VAC receptacle, and then disconnected it from the battery. How sweet - no arcing, no sparking. This is a must have!!! Excellent value and quality.

Charger failed after 3 months. I think there is a UL violation here.

I bought this charger 3 months ago and it failed this morning when I plugged it in. There was no load on the charger as the alligator clips were well separated and definitely not short circuited. Being an engineer I took the cover off, traced the circuit diagram and ohmed-out the transformer to find that the transformer had failed. It is not repairable.

UL approval requires that the hot wire of the power line first go to a circuit protection device (fuse or circuit breaker). There is no visible fuse or circuit breaker in the 120V circuit. The hot power wire goes directly to the transformer, which is a gross UL violation, unless there is a fuse inside the transformer, which I cannot determine since it is a sealed unit. The neutral wire goes to a switch which chooses different transformer taps for different output current settings. Thus, it appears that the 120V circuit must be protected by the house circuit breaker.

A small point, the 50 amp. output is unlikely since there is a 35 amp. 12 volt breaker in series with the negative DC output lead. This, of course, does not protect the AC side of the circuit.

Be very careful with this product as it may be a fire waiting to happen. If you own one I suggest that you place it on a concrete floor far away from any combustible materials. Do not place this unit on a wooded work bench while plugged in to AC power.

I purchased this to replace the Schumacher battery charger that I had for 30+ years when I discovered that the leads had gotten hard and cracked exposing both the 110 v. and the 12 v. wires. I did a lot of research and found this to be the best value, free shipping and no sales tax in addition to a low purchase price. It is now on the shelf for use in next emergency situation.

These plugs went into my engine, they provide a spark and results in a controlled explosion. The explosive energy is transferred from the pistons to the crankshaft to the transmission which powers the wheels. this makes my car useful and allows me to be much lazier than if my car did not work.

Spark Plug for a KE100

I switched the turn signals & brake/tail lights on a 2001 KE100 motorcycle to LED's and as a result I had a lot of ignition noise that the LED's picked up. These resistive plugs solved that issue (the stock plugs were non-resistive type). Anyway...... served the purpose & no noticeable effect otherwise with engine performance.

Great Plug.

Great plug. On sale its just a few dollars more than a copper core plug. Seeing that this is for use in single cylinder engines a 3 or 4 dollars is not much to spend for such an important part of the overall engine performance. Ive had great luck not fouling this plug on my CR250. It starts real well even after a crash (usually anyway) not that I like to test anything by crashing :) but it happens.

Good and HORRIBLE

First i will start off by saying i KNEW it was too good to be true forever!! At first i was farely pleased with the product and how fast it was sent. that part was excelent. No instructions BUT how hard could two little stands be?....Rear stand was difficult to get into the right position because the ALUMINUM(not good) pins tend to shift really easily.BUT again i can work with that. Both stands worked great month 1, month 2, month 3, and now in month 4 the rear stand is starting to take its toll and its having a harder time supporting the bike. since the stands are Aluminum the wear and tear ALOT faster than stainless still or titanium. Its to the point that i could barely lift the bike with the rear stand because the pins are so worn they don't even wunna stay in place any more. When i do finally get it up you can see the stand starting to bend either left or right from the heavy tention of the bike(not good). Finally last night WHILE my bike was on the stand it just colapsed right in the center of the stand where you connect the top and bottom piece and snapped in half. luckly my bike was saved because i was standing on its right side and the kickstand was down. Bottom line if you want this for quick fixes and you don't wunna spend money for quality. this product is great. DON'T PLEASE DOON'T!!! GET THIS PRODUCT IF YOU ARE TRYING TO DO SERIOUS WORK LIKE TIRE CHANGES, SPROCKETS AND CHAIN, OR PREATY MUCH ANYWORK BESIDES IT HOLDING THE BIKE UP FOR YOU TOO ROTATE YOUR TIRE FOR A COUPLE MINUTES TO CLEAN YOUR CHAIN OR TO LOOK AT YOUR OIL LEVEL IF TOO LAZY TO PULL UP WITH ONE HAND. Just spend a little more money and at least get a GOOD rear stand which is important when doing serious work on your bike. you want a stand you KNOW is reliable and doesnt shift when your turning your tire or you think that your bike will be on its side if you leave it for a few minutes. THE FRONT STAND IS GREAT(don't get why its the same material but havent had any problems with it) i know it looks like a deal but i promise all these good comments are comming from customers that put the review RIGHT after they recieved it and didn't give it time. if you want something you will NEVER have to change again....THIS IS NOT IT!! TWO STARS ONLY BECAUSE THE FRONT STAND

If you are looking for motorcycle stands, these are great for the money. I've seen stands cost way more. the only downside, and it's a small downside is that they do not come with instructions to put them together. But after looking at them for a minute you can figure it out.

Noob + Instructions Now Included

The product arrived as described, but unfortunately I am a noob and did not realize that not every bike has spools. So I had to order the paddle attachments for the rear stand so I can lift my KLR650, they are on their way. Front stand works great though. ALSO it looks like enough people complained about the lack of instructions to get the point across: mine came with an instruction sheet with pictures, super simple.

After a lengthy amount of time researching and conversing with other motorcycle owners, I decided to step up to the plate and bought what these others believed to be the best, which was the YTX14-BS Yuasa battery. I own a 2003 Yamaha V-star 1100 and the size was a perfect fit. I was initially weiry of an after market product due to the slight differences in size [don't be]. I shopped many other websites, but I came back to my "old faithful" site, AMAZON.COM. The shipping time was better than their estimated amount of days, which put be back on my motorcycle quicker.

My first Yuasa AGM battery lasted 7 years! I used a float charter about 1 week per month. With this kind of service life, I gladly bought my 2nd one. Highly recommend the Yuasa maintenance free AGM batteries.

Wish I would have bought this first!

I bought an aftermarket battery from a great company but the battery went bad in 4 months. I should have stuck with the Yuasa but tried to save a few dollars. The battery arrived quicker than expected and has been trouble free. The orginial Yuasa lasted 5 years and hope to get that out of this one. By the best the first time around and you won't be disappointed!

Better than goose grease!

I was first introduced to Tri-Flow by a compound bow manufacturer in Albuquerque. He explained to me that it lubricated two ways, with the light penetrating oil and with tiny flakes of Teflon (i.e. You cannot see them it just looks milky.). The oil also acts as a transport mechanism for the Teflon. After lubricating something - you wipe off the excess oil and the Teflon stays inside. It works great on firearms, locks, fishing reels, cameras, firearms, and car door hinges, too. For example: I drive daily on long and very dusty roads. I used to have to oil my hinges monthly with WD40. I now use Tri-Flow about twice a year. I own a 1983 Ford ¾ ton pickup truck. It came equipped with a variable venturi carburetor, a California configuration. I went to the Ford dealership for a tune up. The technician first question to me was how much trouble the choke had been giving me. He explained to me that this type of carb was apparently designed by an engineer who had never lived in a sandy environment! Just ONE grain of sand would keep the choke open. The Ford mechanic, who had been to specialty classes on this carb, could hardly believe I was having no problem with mine. It had been nothing but trouble for his dealership in dusty southern New Mexico. I told him that when I bought the truck it worked fine until winter, when it needed to be choked to start. When I found the choke was sticking, I cleaned off the varnish accumulation on the top of the carb and sprayed it with WD40. This worked until the WD40 cooked off from engine heat, then I had trouble starting again. The next time I sprayed it with Tri-Flow (Ta Da!) Problem solved! The oil was gone and the Teflon remained. It allowed the variable venturi to "float". I had to use Tri-Flow at the beginning of every winter after that. He was unfamiliar with the product which had only been out a few years. So, I brought him a small can to use. The mechanic discounted the work he was doing on my truck as a thank you! I feel sure he more than made up for it!

Great results

I installed Baldwin Locks in store-front aluminum doors. After about 15 years of use in a dry climate (SCal), the locks and deadbolts began to stick or become impossible to turn.

My wife, thinking that I would have to take them to a locksmith for repair, pulled one apart. She put it back together without solving the problem. I took the lock to a local locksmith. He said he could save me a lot of money. He took a can of Tri-Flow Superior Lubricant and sprayed the lock's mechanism without disassembling anything. After a few moments of rapidly turning the latches and loosening them up, they worked like a gem. I don't know or care how it works, but it sure does.

In 30-some years of marriage, this may be the only thing I've gotten right.

I have used this on my road bikes, door hinges, pad locks, gliding rocking chairs, garage doors, fishing reels, door knobs, and many other household areas and it's the best product I've ever used. W.D. 40 is good for cleaning and rust purposes but Tri-Flow lubricates the heck out of stuff. You'll be satisfied, trust me, you can't go wrong. Best of luck.

A mediocre helmet with lots of features at a good price

Pros: The modular hinged front works well, good visibility, fairly light weight, looks great.
Cons: Shield leaks air & whistles like a train, very little interior padding, leaks air at neck area.

I returned this helmet after taking one trip around the block. I've owned many full face helmets and know what to expect. While this helmet looks good, the interior is cheap and almost completely absent of any cushion. That did not make it uncomfortable though. The latching front is a nice feature and one that I had not used before. The front does not pick up very far though.

I bought it one size larger after reading other posts on Amazon. I suspect that was a mistake. I am thinking that many of the reviewers were not experienced with full face helmets and did not realize they should fit snugly, expecially when they are new as they will wear in.

The biggest problem was how poorly it kept air out. The shield leaks so badly from the top that it wistled like a train. I tried to adjust it to seal better, but that did not work. The underside leaked real bad too. You could put your hand at either area to make it better, but that is not a viable solution while riding. More padding would have helped the leaky area around your neck or maybe a smaller size. There is no excuse for the shield. A few others made this comment. Maybe it is only true for XL which is the size I bought?

Decent helmet for great price

I upgraded my little 50cc 4 stroke scooter to 83cc and a bike helmet is not allowed on city streets above 30mph, So i ordered this Helmet to stay legal. First thing i notice out of the box was a slight glue smell from production, But that was gone by my 2nd trip to work.
Next was the drop down sun visor, It does the job great even though I'm used to darker tinted glasses, And getting sunglasses on is still easy with the nose flipped up.
As the flip front goes it seals with authority making a good click when down!
Next up is the Visor, Its clear! not like a few helmets i tried at retail with a slight fog to them (yes the cellophane was off but cheap helmets have cheap plastic).
I spent 2 weeks riding to work in cold weather with the visor open 1 notch at red lights to prevent fogging but once moving the vents do a great job, And even at 63mph (Scoots top speed down hill) the sound from wind is still quiet with a light "fwooo" from the mouth vent, Allowing you to hear the vehicles nearby.

I have Had this helmet for a while now and the only downside is the left side of mine is scratched to bits thanks to a car in the "fast lane" fishtailing on ice and swooping my rear end away with his passenger side bumper while we were travelling 23-25 mpg in a 45 zone, but i filled in the marks with a sharpie and walked away with a shoulder bruise!

Next review may be of how a gopro catches a hit n run :D (but seriously the gopro on top now makes the helmet just a slight bit "louder" in wind) but with that the helmets still fairly light.

Good helmet for the price, not sure if i have a weird head but xl fits like a large. Quick delivery, only down fall is the visor came with a film, some alcohol took it off but you can still see it. Would purchase again.

This stuff is great!

I use this almost every time I work on my car. If you have ever seen a 5 lug car hub using only 4 lugs then you know they never heard of this product. It is great on any part that you think might rust or seize together. This stuff is a life-saver on O2 sensors (thread only) and exhaust headers. Works great on spark plugs too! I live in the Northeast USA so rust is always a threat and this product is great insurance against seized bolts and it really adheres to surfaces for long lasting protection. It has a built in brush attached to the cap so no need to get your fingers dirty (well not too dirty). I really like this larger size as the smaller tubes are made out of metal and always break before you use it all.

This product works great and is cheap, it separates a little if you store it in a hot garage but doesn't separate once stirred up an applied to a part.

I use Anti-sieze on nearly anything that is made of metal. If anything has the ability to rust or corrode then always use this. I have taken so many rusty bolts out that have broken, or dragged the hole way out, but now anytime I assemble something metal I use this for the fasteners to prevent breakage and easy disassembly. Reasonable price for a product that will save you money, time, and frustration.

Works well for summer/winter wheel switches

I put a little smear of this on each hub when I switched my summer wheels for winter wheels. Next spring the wheels came off with almost zero effort. Bottle will last ages given how little is needed in this application.

Amazing stuff

I use this grease on everything that requires it. Farm equipment, cars, tillers, mowers, you name it. I buy it by the case when needed. I stumbled upon Royal Purple (RP) products about 15 years ago, and this grease was the first product I tried. It sold me on the whole product line and I have never looked back. It used to be that the only way to get RP was in 5 gallon buckets, but now you can find it in just about any automotive store, in quarts and cases. You owe it to yourself and your equipment to try at least one tube of this stuff and see for yourself. Once it gets in between two piece of metal, you must apply tremendous pressure to get metal to metal contact. Great stuff, as is every RP product I have ever used.

I've been using this grease on things that aren't even auto related. It makes excellent work of quieting down squeaky doors in the house, lube the channels that sliding doors slide on, even on squeaky table joints. I haven't yet used it on my door hinges and lock systems on my car, but it sure as hell will be there when the weather get's better. I don't use a grease gun, I take like a plastic spoon or something and scoop it out and apply with my finger, it's pretty hard to get off your hands and it doesn't smell very good either...Forget that white lithium grease, get this and never look back.

As others have noted, the percent-charged reading can be grossly misleading. My experience is that when it shows 100%, you can expect to continue charging for another couple of hours before reaching full charge. Other than that, this charger works well. The biggest consideration with this product, however, is life expectancy. While this charger comes with a five year warranty, you are unlikely to get anywhere near that before it dies. This has been my experience with several Schumacher battery chargers. Unfortunately, there is almost nothing in the way of comparable items by other makers to choose from.

Tests, Charges, Maintains, Desulfisizes - Gel Cell, AGM, Deep Cycle and Starter Lead Acid

As my title states, this charger handles all four main types of large batteries: Lead Acid Auto Starter batteries, Deep Cycle Marine, AGM and Gel Cell. You select battery type and size and it takes care of the rest. When you first hook up the clips to the battery and plug in the charger, selecting battery type, it tests the battery and gives you the volts available as well as the percentage that battery is currently charged! Many times I've wanted to know that. You then select battery size and it starts charging. If you select 15 or 10 amps, when the battery is fully charged it goes into a maintenance mode automatically! You can leave the charger running forever - and it won't over charge the battery. Also - if your battery is damaged by sulfide build up, it detects that and runs a cycle to clean the battery and give it life again if it can. Wow. I wonder how many batteries I've replaced that could have been revived or kept alive by this charger?! This is going to save me a lot of money.

I purchased a new 850 cc amp deep cycle battery to use as an emergency power source for my amateur radio equipment (I'm a net control storm spotter for the National Weather Service Skywarn network). This brand new battery tested at 95% charged - so I fully charged it (while using the radio) and it worked fine. Charged up to 100% and went into maintenance mode automatically. Took the charger to the farm and connected it to a dead tractor battery. Showed 11% charged and began building the charge immediately. Was up to 15% in about 7 minutes when I had to leave. I'll have to update this review later to let you know if it was able to salvage that poor battery.

I know of no other chargers that test the battery, charge all types of batteries and can safely be left on to maintain them as well. Go check out the cost of Gel Cell battery chargers - and you'll find this is a deal.

BTW, if you forget to turn it from 'test' to 'charge', after 10 minutes or so this charger will automatically charge up the battery and keep it maintained for you! How easy is that?

Great Charger, exceptional price.

I bought this charger to replace a 15yr. old manual charger that finally gave up the ghost. All I can say is that chargers have come a long way over the last decade and a half. This charger was about 1/3 the price of the one it replaced. It's easy to use and does a great job. I would prefer metal construction rather than the plastic, but given the price, that's a minor complaint. The fan is a bit loud, but I don't sleep in my garage so I don't see that as an issue either.

I've used this charger several times. Most recently to revive the battery in my wife's mini van. It was drained to less than 6v when my kids left the interior lights on. In the past, this would have been a death sentence for the battery, but the SSC-1500A was able to recharge it without any problems. It's been over 2 months and her car starts just fine. Considering it's winter in Alaska, that's no small feet for a battery that was drained as far as her's was.

The SSC-1500A was also able to breathe new life into a portable jump start battery that had recently started refusing to accept more than a 50% charge with it's included wall wart. I hooked the SSC-1500A's clamps to the portable batteries clamps, started the charge and left it overnight. The next morning the portable battery was back to full capacity.

I'll say it again, great charger for the price.

Used to be my garage door made so much noise you could hear it a block away. I got a can of this silicon based lubricant, watched a video "How to Lubricate Your Noise Garage Door" posted on YouTube from precisiongaragedoor.net, spent about 20 minutes spraying what they said to spray, and now the door is almost silent.

Even though the video says Lithium Grease is best I had a can of 3-IN-ONE 100581 Garage Door Lubricant Spray, 11 oz. on hand and figured I would give it a try. If fixed the noises temporarily but most returned in a week or so.

I used this stuff and so far the garage is quiet as new. It also got the squeaks out of my office chair!
